CCOP and Energy China Forum (ECF) will co-organize the 8th Asia-Pacific Shale Gas Summit on 17-19 October 2018 and Energy China Forum 2018 Asia-Pacific LNG & Gas Utilization Seminar on 18-19 October 2018, Jianguo Hotel, Shanghai, China.
Energy China Forum has already held 7 unconventional oil & gas summit successfully since 2011, which has been the largest unconventional energy event in the Asia-Pacific region. Energy China Forum 2018: 8th Asia-Pacific Shale Gas Summit, with the theme “Changes: Challenges · Opportunities”. In this year’s expanded focus from ‘Shale’ to ‘Natural gas’, we look to address the many fuels and technologies – both old and new – outside the oil and gas business that will likely become increasingly important for industry participants. This forum gathers professionals and experts from all around the world to explore policy trends, discuss latest shale development, classify and study industry chain, access to business partnering and project matchmaking, to learn both market 101 and advanced business strategy in China Oil & Gas industries and having a face to face communication with Chinese partners as well as global investors.
With support from the China National Energy Regulatory Agency (NEA, NDRC, MLR), China National Energy Corporation, and International Energy Corporations along with Shanghai Municipality, and leading China national agencies, this conference will deliberate on opportunities to connect with industry colleagues and to build new business relationships opportunities, the Chinese energy market, international partnership and policy guidance for shale gas and conventional development, unconventional oil and gas development and demand, and the shale oil industry chain; including exploration and production, pipeline, downstream markets, chemical in E & P, offshore & deep water engineering, and policy and law services. The conference organizer is also inviting Member Countries and partners to participate in the ECF2018 3rd Oil & Gas Technology Innovation Award, to celebrate the industry’s best innovative practices and performances and to recognize and honor the excellent efforts and accomplishments of the oil and gas technology innovation. The award which initialed by Shanghai United Institute for Unconventional Resources, and it's been a great success in recognizing advanced technology for the past 2 years. The Award will include 5 nominations for Environment & Energy Conservation, Stimulation & EOR Technology, Cost Reduction & Efficiency Technology, Exploration & Production Technology and Intelligent & Information Technology. To that effect member countries are invited to recommend known achievers in new technology, and service advances achievements in oil & gas exploration and production to join the award election.
